The "open" class is conducted by Economics faculty students
At universities instead of tests, begin to spread widely “open” class-slide show presentations, in which students from different courses, lecturers and representatives from administrative staff participate. This time the "open" class-test was in the framework of the "Adoption of Managerial works" subject, by the lecturer and author of the initiative, Hayas Hakobyan.Conducting the test in such a way, gives students an opportunity to manage the materials of the course wholly, because each presentation includes several full topics.This form of test is effective, because students, following the work of others, also learn other subjects just during the test.
THE FINAL MONITORING OF THE GRANT PROJECT "DISTANCE LEARNING COURSES COMBINED WITH DISTANCE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES "
Within the framework of the Armenian Innovation Competitiveness Foundation (CIF), the two-year cycle of work on the “Distance learning courses combined with distance learning technologies", signed between the "Center for Educational Programs" and Northern University on December 23, 2016 came to its end.
The organization of the grant project “Distance learning courses combined with distance learning technologies" is aimed at promoting the development of distance learning in the Republic of Armenia, contributing to the balanced development of educational services and availability of higher education in the regions through the use of modern information technologies.
The implementation of the program consisted of 4 stages. At the end of the fourth, final stage (as at the end of each stage), on December 19, 2018 the final meeting was held with the PIO representatives of Center of Educational Programs to discuss not only the scope of fourth stage but also activities implemented throughout the project, objectives identified by the program, and the issues that have emerged during the program. It should be noted that renovation and furnishing of distance learning laboratorios were carried out in Yerevan and in Alaverdi branches within the framework of the project. The efforts were made on the transformation of the website and adaptation of Moodle system to it.
The endless mystery of Love
(Open lesson)
The open lesson topic of the Psychology Faculty second year students was the “Verb”. At least, this was mentioned in the invitation card. But from the very beginning, the students refused from the topic and took the lesson in a completely different direction, devoting it to love. The students told the guests about the love stories of famous people, talked about their great love, endless sufferings and about their works, born from that.During the lesson a recitation contest between guestes was held as well, the winner of which was recognized Mrs. Janinyan. Being inspired by an emotional atmosphere, she told about Lomonosov's love, touched upon several episodes of Tumanyan and Isahakyan's personal life. Even though the 2nd year students of the Psychology Faculty tried to reveal the mystery of love, in every way, by reciting , remembering the love stories of the well-known people, it continued to stay ''a Mystery''. Only, as it was confessed by the participants of the open lesson, a strong desire to love and be loved emerged in them. And that means that in the near future new mysteries of love will appear in the form of a gift or punishment.
